Qualified professionals with citizenship of the Russian Federation can apply for an employment visa pursuant to the Skilled Immigration Act (Fachkräfteeinwanderungsgesetz) at the German Embassy in Tbilisi. The territorial jurisdiction, which requires proof of residence in Georgia for the past six months, has been temporarily lifted for Russian qualified professionals.
