Спасибо! Это - интересно. А куда же тогда подавать документы на визу/внж? В муниципалитет города?
Кстати на сайте Мюнхена я такого не нашел :)

А вот, что мне ответили в немецком консульстве Сан Франциско. (Обратите внимание на последний абзац)
"Thank you for your e-mail. There is no visa category for the purpose of retirement in Germany. In order to apply for a residence permit you will need to meet the requirements for one of the categories.
More information regarding the different visa categories can be found via www.visa.diplo.de
You may also contact the local foreigners authority in the city you would like to live in, to find out if they would approve of your application. "
