1. The plug-ins that the developer would be maintaining and developing would they all be in C#?
C++/C# for an IE BHO, cross-browser JavaScript for an Extension.  Possible FireFox add-on down the line.
2. What are the main types of plug-ins? i.e. connection to 3rd party tools\web services or in house web services?
Transmitting user-actioned data to an house web services.
3. Are these plug-ins front end interactive plug-ins that the clients use or are they background plug-ins for saving or analysing data?
Both the add-on will have a UI and data will be cached locally for transmitting to a webservice  
4. Is the main purpose of the role to port PHP plug-ins over to .NET?
No – no current add-on exists in PHP
5. If not what are the main roles for this position?
To develop and build the add-on. The candidate will be the subject matter expert on the add-on
6. Do the plug-ins require the analysis to be done backend C# code or are they done on a database level?
Trivial data parsing will be done at the plug-in level
7. Roughly how many plug-ins are required/ is it just to convert the whole project from PHP to .NET?

8. How many other developers would I be working with or would I be working independently?
They would be part of the overall team, but developing the add-on is an independent position
9. Are the plug-ins specifically for one Website or are they to be reusable across multiple different applications/sites?
Re-useable/installable to any website.  As such, multiple or cross browser experience is a boon.

И примерно такой же по пункту 9 - Кто-нибудь инсталил ИЕ-плугин на сторонний вэб-сайт?
