.Net Software Developer – Transformation Project .Net Core and DevOps

This is an opportunity to join a major Irish sports organisation located in Kildare during an important transformation period. You will be working as a Hybrid .Net Developer in a project-based environment, playing a key role in this organisation’s transition to a modernised tech function in MVC, .Net Core, and DevOps. As a Hybrid Developer, you will be empowered to broaden your skillset technically, as well as commercially – with more control over processes, working directly with clients to gather requirements.

This is a fullstack role, enabling you to become more well-rounded, coding in the latest C# / .Net Core, MVC, scripting with JQuery on the frontend, as well as developing your business and client management skills. You will gain control and visibility over the impact of your development on the business overall.

This organisation supports more than 13 websites. You will be working on a number of projects across a wide variety of applications from backend to frontend to database. You will contribute to the design and architecture of databases. Additionally, you will work on their RestAPI Service – understanding secure principles to make RestAPIs available to 3rd parties, also allowing external system to interface with them.

You will join a small, close-knit team where you have full scope to make a big impact, work independently, have your voice heard, and develop your leadership skills. Play a key role in Greenfield business transformation projects, be part of their journey to build out DevOps, and take your career to the next level in a fullstack, business-oriented, Hybrid .Net Developer position.

You Will:

• Play a key role in this organisation’s transformation project to .Net Core, MVC, and DevOps.

• Enhance your business/client skills within a fullstack Hybrid Developer role.

• Contribute to the design and architecture of databases.

• Be part of a Greenfield project to build out DevOps.

• Work on RestAPIs.

Experience:

• 3 + years developing C# / .NET framework – MS Visual Studio.
• RestAPI
• SQL Server – SSIS, Store Procedures, TSQL – transfer data between different systems.
• Frontend JQuery (flows on screens)
• Gathering requirements from clients/writing requirements documents

Salary / Remuneration: EUR 55,000 max
