A position now exists in my Client's application development team for an experienced Business Analyst (30%) / Application Developer (70%).
I am looking for someone who has good communication and analytical skills as the role is not solely an application development role.
Some of the tools / methodologies I will expect you to use:
Ideally
C#, Microsoft.NET Framework, Microsoft.NET WebForms, Microsoft.NET WinForms, VB.NET, Java, HTML (CSS & XSLT)
Advantageous
Internet Information Services, Microsoft Visio, SQL Server 2005 / 2008, T-SQL, VB, Visual Basic, Visual Studio.NET

Also - which version of VB are expected?

My client is a professional service firm (law practice) based near the Quays, Dublin 2. The role is permanent and the salary range is between €40,000 and €55,000 (depending on experience).

My Client’s IT Support department serves the computing and information systems needs of the Company. The department:
· develops, implements and maintains information systems to support the operational and management information needs of the firm
· develops, implements and maintains the networks, operating systems and technical infrastructure to underpin the above
· delivers packaged and other software solutions to support fee-earner, administrative and secretarial staff
· supports the computing needs of users throughout the firm including remote users

The department comprises of the following teams :
· Operations Team
· IT Service Desk
· Application Development
· eDiscovery
· Applications Support

C# and VB.ET are both mandatory requirements. Concerning the knowledge of VB, I don’t know which version is used as per job spec is an advantageous requirement.
