Я согласен с 
viger2, зачем писать по-немецки, если ты не собираешься с ними по-немецки разговаривать.
Пользуюсь следующим форматом сопроводительного письма:
Dear Mr. Smith,
I would like to express my interest in Enterprise Application Developer position you have advertised on some-web-address website.
The opportunity presented in this listing is very appealing and I believe my strong technical experience as Software Developer
and my eagerness to learn new things will make me a competitive candidate for this position.
Please see attached resume for details about my skills and experience.
I'm absolutely available as of today and my salary demands are negotiable.
Relocation also wouldn't be a problem.
I look forward to speaking with you about this opportunity.
