The fritz.box is ok for a cheap router, plus its based on 2.4 kernel with open source OS... can make some magic with it :)...
how ever the 1+1 is SUCKS and if u can STAY away from them.
i had to wait for a connection over 4 months
then the bustards told me that they cant route my DSL via them and i need to get DSL line from TCOM and they will provide the surf pack.
they also promised me refund for switching back to TCOM... however i never received any, the support is bad waiting times are long (10 min), the call not free, many times different agents says different things .
Bottom line:
Dont go there unless u absolutly have to!
