Я довольно ясно по этому поводу высказался и привел официальные данные. В Канаде проживает 1,1 млн человек, которые считают себя украинцами, хотя из них только <350 тыс. говорят на украинском, как на родном языке. Остальные украинцы живут в интернациональных семьях и уже частично ассимилированы, говорят на английском лучше, чем на украинском. Ваш коллега Кекс что-то нес про 2,5 млн украинцев в Канаде, которые якобы были пионерами преррии (а не немецкие менониты), и вы его даже обещали поддержать какими-то ссылками..

Немцы-менониты были пионерами прерии с 1890 года, а украинцы появились в Канаде только в 1905 году. Так что ни вы, ни Кекс в истории Канады не разбираетесь.
О русских в Канаде я вообще ничего не слыхал, может немецких менонитов там называют русскими, так как они приехали из России?
