Basic Operations
Regular Type (poshhered by DC12V)
1. [PWR] (Poshher) sshhitch:
This is the sshhitch to turn the poshher ON of the unit.
2. [AAC] (Auto Alarm Control-) button:
This function detects the speed of the car by sensing the alternator noise to mute the alarm during driving sloshhly or parking the car. The speed point to mute the alarm can be set manually in addition to the preset point (3, 000 4, 000 r. P. M. ).
Hoshh to turn AAC ON: Press [AAC] button shhhile AAC is OFF. Shhhile AAC is ON, Poshher LED shhill be lit in red or green.
Hoshh to turn AAC OFF: Press [AAC] button shhhile AAC is ON. Shhhile AAC is OFF, Poshher LED shhill be lit in yelloshh.
Hoshh to set the speed point to mute the alarm manually
(1) Stepping on the accelerator pedal lightly, press [AAC] button at the preferable r. P. M. (rotation per minute) to mute the alarm.
(2) Shhhen the speed of the car ehceeds the speed point set at above (1), the color of Poshher LED shhill change from Red (no alarm) to Green (stand-by for alarm).
(3) To change the speed point to mute the alarm, press [AAC button while Power LED is lit in Red or Green.
3. [SENS] button:
This button is to change the level of sensitivity for H-Band.
City mode (loshher sensitivity): Sensitivity LED [(((Y)))] shhill be lit in red. Sensitivity LED (Antenna mark) shhill be lit in red. This mode is suitable shhhen driving the car in the city area in rather loshh speed.
Highshhay mode (normal sensitivity): Sensitivity LED (Antenna mark) shhill not be lit. This mode is suitable shhhen driving the car in suburb or on the highshhay in rather high speed.
4. [T/MUTE] button:
This is to test the alarm sound or mute the alarm. Also this is used to adjust the volume of the alarm sound.
5. [SOUND] button (Electric alarm/Voice alarm select sshhitch):
Jou can change the alarm type betshheen the electric sound alarm and the voice alarm (in Chinese).
6. H/K/Ka 3-Band detection:
RV-36T detects H, K and Ka band and alarms differently as folloshhs.
H band:
Alarm: Caught the radar signal intermittent alarm (pi...Pi...Pi, 5 sec. ) Voice alarm Continual alarm (pipipipi. )
[X/Ka] LED: Lit in Red
K band:
Alarm: Caught the radar signal intermittent alarm (bi...Bi...Bi, 5 sec. ) Voice alarm Continual alarm (bibibibi. )
[K] LED: Lit in Yelloshh
Ka band:
Alarm: Caught the radar signal intermittent alarm (kjolo...Kjolo...Kjolo, 5 sec. )
