19 мая планируется акция протеста в Москве и других городах России против введения запрета на праворукие автомобили (ввезенные из Японии). На таких машинах ездит весь Дальний Восток, большинство в Сибири, очень многие в Москве, Питере и других городах.
Поддержите право российских автолюбителей иметь тот автомобиль, который они хотят, а не который им навялит местный автопром!

We protest against discrimination of automobile drivers▓ rights!
Dear co-patriots! Auto enthusiasts!
The government is reaching further and further into our pockets, trying to turn them inside out and grabbing all it can get. We are faced with unrestrained growth of gasoline prices; Draconian regulations of compulsory liability insurance; unfounded, and groundlessly tied to engine power, road tax in Moscow starting from 2006; and now the looming governmental ban (restriction on use) of automobiles with the right-hand side steering wheel.
The decisions in the government are taken by only a closed circle guided, without event hiding it, by a lobby of a few interested persons, and showing no respect whatsoever towards the ordinary people▓s rights and interests.
We, the owners of right-steer cars, living all over Russia from the Far East and the Far North to Moscow and Krasnodar, consider these government▓s actions as social and political provocation, threatening to bring about protests, more so given the ill-famous events in the neighboring country ┘
We are not calling for a revolution!
We stand for a government that is just, open and fair. Our voice is not heard ┘, we are provoked to PROTEST!
NO to gasoline price increase!
NO to increase of road tax!
NO to the existing liability insurance rates!
NO to increase of customs duties!
NO to restrictions on or banning the right-hand side steering wheel!
We urge all car-owners in Moscow to take part in the protest actions against discrimination of our rights which is scheduled for 09:00am May 19, 2005 in front of the House of the Government.
If you support our protest, but unable to take part in it, fix an orange flag (or a strip of fabric) to your car on May 19 and turn on the dim headlights.
Stickers are welcome on the cars reading:
SAY NO TO MINISTERS, MY CAR IS MY CHOICE.
The regions support us so let us support the regions.
