Mi Chunmao was born in Baxian, Hebei Province, in 1938. He is now member of the Chinese Artists Association and council member of the Hebei Branch.
Mi developed a strong interest in drawing and sculpture when he was a child. In 1959, he learnt the technique of Chinese painting from teachers such as Sun Qifeng, Zhang Qiyi, Xiao Lang, Li Kunpu, Liang Qi, etc. He also studied coloured sculpture from Zhang Ming and sculpture technique from Wang Zhijiang. He gas gained a high reputation for realism and gracefulness in the circle of meticulous style painting in China. His favorite topics are small creatures such as kittens and puppies, which he portrays in a lifelike manner. His works have been published both at home and abroad and have been awarded many times in exhibitions. His books "How to Portray Small Creatures" and "Paintings by Mi Chunmao"was published.

Feng Dazhong was born in 1949 in Benxi, Liaoning Province. He is now member of the Chinese Artists Association, council member of the Chinese Gongbi Painters Association and deputy chairman of Benxi Artists Association.
Feng began to learn epigraphy and calligraphy under the tutorship of veteran painter Li Xiaoru when he was a child. However, he learned painting in a really hard way. He is good at drawing landscapes and animals by carrying forward the traditions while creating new things. He has developed an elegant, bold, unrestrained, free and easy style of his own. He is particularly renowned for his "Tiger"drawn in Gongbi style, which is acclaimed as the best tiger in China. His work "First Snow"won the second class award at the International Exhibition of Paintings by Young Artists in 1985. His "Early Spring"won the gold medal at the First China Contemporary Gongbi Paintings Exhibition 1988. His work "Snow Glow"(1994) was awarded first-class prize at the Third Contemporary Chinese Gongbi Painting Exhibition. He also won the grand prize for Literature and Artworks in Liaoning Province for three years in a row. Eighteen of his works have been collected by the China Art Gallery. He exhibited his works on many occasions in Japan and Hong Kong. His publications include "Collection of Paintings by Feng Dazhong"and "Special Selection of Paintings by Fan Zeng, Song Yugui and Feng Dazhong"
