We are happy to inform you that your belongings with the deion you have provided have been found and are currently at the TAV Lost & Found Department. If possible, we kindly request you to send an acquaintance living in Istanbul (notifying us in advance of his/her name) to collect the belongings. Please rest assured that your property is safe at the Lost and Found Office, and already acknowledged as "claimed". If you wish, you can also pick your belongings yourself when you are in Turkey again.
Please kindly be advised that you could also authorise a cargo company (i.e. UPS, FedEx, TNT, DHL etc.) by giving them the registration number 156421 so that your belongings can be collected from the Lost & Found Office and couriered to you by the company. Alternatively, you could make a request to your airline company for the delivery of the items. However, we would like to state that your request will be under the initiative of the airline company. Contact addresses for some of the cargo companies are submitted for your information below.

We’d like to draw your attention to the fact that your properties will be kept at TAV Lost & Found Office for six months at most. That being said, we kindly request you to inform us in advance about the person or the company you authorise, and the estimated date when the items will be collected so that we can organise the delivery. If the items will be collected by one of your acquaintances, we will need a copy of your passport/ID and an authorisation letter. In case of a cargo company, please provide us with the invoice and the bill of lading (both documents can be acquired from the preferred cargo company) except for the aforementioned documents in order for the items to pass through the customs smoothly.
